SOP: Forminator Forms Creation to Google Sheet integration and Automating Facebook Leads to Google Sheets (via Pabbly)

For this SOP, we will use this form as a basis: YBYG Program Package and Waiver

Forminator Form

We go inside the WordPress dashboard, and click on the Forminator Pro “Forms” tab

Click ‘CREATE’

Choose Blank template

Type the Name of the form on the space provided.

Add fillable fields from the form.

For the text before the form, you can add that to the Elementor page because it looks better rather than adding it on the form itself.

Adding fields are easy to learn once you are inside. Select Insert fields and add follow the basis form sent to you for the fields that are required

If you want to add text to the form, select html

You can check your work from time to time on the Preview page and click on Publish once all the fields are placed

Forminator PDF

Click on PDF on the sidebar

Edit the PDF so that it will be similar with the form provided (as much as possible)
You can always preview your work so that you can see any errors on the pdf

Preview Window:

Remove HTML labels so that it wont show up in the PDF

Edit the title here:

Edit the forrm so it will be presentable

Click Save Changes once done

Forminator Email Notifications

Ask Ary or your manager where to email the notifications

Go to Email Notifications found on the sidebar.

Copy this format

Recipient will be support@partopia.ca

After testing, change it to the client’s email address

Elementor Page Creation

Go to Pages tab and Add a Page

Edit with Elementor

Click on Gear icon and change Layout to Elementor Full width

Add Shortcode Element

Copy the shortcode from the Forminator Forms Tab

Paste and apply

Add additional elements to make it look like the form that was sent to you

Publish the page

Pabbly Automation

Determine which sheet you want to store the data to. Ask Ary or your manager if you will create another sheet for this or just add another tab to the existing sheet

Also ask which folder inside Pabbly do you want to store your automation.

Create workflow in Pabbly

Name of the workflow will be “Forminator to Google Sheet – (FORM NAME)”

Trigger will be Webhook, copy the Webhook URL

Go back to Forminator Pro forms, and edit the form that you want to connect

Select Integrations

Add Webhook

Friendly name will be Pabbly and then paste the webhook URL

Click Update

Go back to Pabbly and select Recapture Webhook Response

Visit your form and fill it out, submit the form once done so that Pabbly can detect it

Once you submit the form, Pabbly will record those answers

Go back to Forminator and go to submissions tab

Select the created form, and click Show Submissions

You can check here the pdf that has been created

Click Export and Download CSV

Open the CSV,  copy the Header Row and paste it to the Google Sheet that you created or the tab that you created

Go back to Pabbly and add a step

Select Google Sheet

Action Event: Add new Row

Click Connect and then Save

Select the sheet that you created or you want to connect

And also the tab

For the submission time paste this: {{pc_local_human_now}}

Map all the other details

Once done mapping , click Save and send test request

Check sheet if the details are recorded properly, adjust cell sizes if ncessary

Final Test

Fill out the form and submit again, check if everything is in order

  • Mobile optimization for the form page 

Once Everything is confirmed working change the email notification receiver to the client’s email
